Josie Kinnaman and Mia Brinkruff represented Greenfield-Central at the 45th IHSAA State Meet on Saturday at Terre Haute. Kinnaman, in fer third state meet, led the GC duo with a 52nd place finish, finishing in a time of 18:51.3. The time was her best on the Leverne-Gibson course and her place was the highest finish for a GC women's cross country runner, besting her 67th place finish from a year ago. Brinkruff concluded a successful freshman season with a 133rd place finish, in a time of 19:39.2. Both Kinnaman and Brinkuff completed the season earning accolades along the way: Kinnmman was all-county, all-conference, all-sectional, and academic all-state honorable mention; Brinkruff was county champion, all-county, all-conference, all-sectional, and all-regional.
