The varsity volleyball team's season came to an end Saturday night in a tough loss to Yorktown High School. The Cougars made their way to the sectional championship for the second year in a row, after defeating Richmond in five sets and Muncie Central in four. GC fought hard to keep their season alive but they were outmatched by the state-ranked Yorktown Tigers. Yorktown took the lead early and was in control the rest of the game. Greenfield-Central lost by set scores of 25-13, 25-14, 25-10. The Cougars finished their season as sectional runners-up and had an overall record of 18-13.
