The varsity volleyball team took down Muncie Central in a four-set match to secure their place in the sectional championship. The Bearcats were in control of the first set, and started with a 25-20 win over the Cougars. The second set was all GC, with a dominating win of 25-8. Muncie Central came out more competitive in the third set, and battled point-for-point with GC until the end. The Cougars were able to clinch the third set win with a score of 26-24. With both teams fighting for the chance to play in the sectional championship, they each brought their best in the fourth set. Finally, Greenfield was able to secure the set and the match with a 25-22 win in set four.
