The Cougars extend their season by finishing 3rd in the Sectional to advance to next week's Regional. The Cougars had three All-Sectional Finishers in Bryce Cotterman 8th (16:29), Braylon Mumaugh 11th (16:43), and Jack Wait 14th (16:57). It was a great race for Wait who had only competed in a limited number of meets due to injuries. It was a smart race for him, and it was his first time breaking 17:00. David Wasson was 24th in 17:43, and Otto Sickels was 26th in 17:49. Adam Shields finished 45th in 18:38, and Jaxon Conaway finished 47th in 18:49.
