The GC Cougars were victorious over the New Castle Trojans, 62–27. The Cougar offense was led by Cooper Hinton, who carried the ball 23 times for 234 yards, scoring four touchdowns and three two-point conversions. Draven Nolting added to the offensive attack with two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown. Defensively, Cooper Hinton recorded seven tackles and one interception, while Trenton Smith, Ethan Anderson, and McCoy Wilson each tallied eight tackles.
