Long day at the GC Soccer Complex with the JV Cougar Cup Games going at 10:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm and then a Varsity match to wrap things up at 5:00pm. Started the day at 8:30am and ending the day at 7:30pm. The Varsity team played Knightstown tonight in an end of the season match for both teams. GC scored often and early taking a 3-0 lead in the first 10 minutes. GC scored again at the end of the first half to make it 4-0 at halftime. Cougars were able to get several reserve players playing time in the second half and rest others for next weeks sectional run. The game would end 4-0 for the cougars. Next week starts the sectional tournament. Cougars play Southport on Tuesday at 5:00pm at Franklin Central. Varsity vs Knightstown High School Win
