The varsity volleyball team played their last home game of the season against Guerin Catholic in Saturday's match. The Golden Eagles were in control of the first set, taking it 25-14. The Cougars found some momentum in the second set, and tied Guerin multiple times early on. The Golden Eagles pushed for a lead but the Cougars started to come back late in the set, prompting a Guerin Catholic timeout at 23-20. Both teams battled for the last couple points but it was Guerin who clinched the second set win 25-22. The Golden Eagles took control again in the third set and pushed for a 25-12 win to close out the match. Varsity volleyball is now 15-11 this season.
