The Greenfield-Central women's cross country team competed in the Open Blue #2 division race at Nike Twilight on Saturday evening. The Cougars placed second, behind Carmel in the race. Results were combined for both open races, with the Cougars maintaining their second place finish with over 70 represented teams. The Cougars were led by Mia Brinkruff and Josie Kinnaman, placing 2nd and 3rd in the race. Adalyn Cole placed 21st in a season best time of 20:07. Kendall Barrett (71st), and Kamryn Smith (127th) rounded out the scoring for GC. Aspen Wiswell (23:39.9) and Ashlyn Devlin (23:40.0) ran 6th and 7th for GC, both running personal best times. Cerenity Minchin also competed in the varsity race. Paige Coughenour, Lily Gordon, Kaiden Frischkorn, and Annabelle Seats competed in the JV race with Frischkorn (29:59.5) running a season best and Seats (33:59.7) running a personal best.
