The varsity volleyball team was defeated by Pendleton in Thursday night's conference match. The Arabians came out strong in the first two sets of the match, winning 25-17 in set one and 25-18 in set two. The Cougars found some momentum in the third set and stayed with Pendleton point-for-point until they were able to push a lead. GC clinched the third set 25-20. The Arabians started with an early lead in set four and held that lead late into the set. The Cougars had a run late in the set but Pendleton was able to close out the game with a 25-21 win in the fourth set. Varsity volleyball is now 15-10 this season.
