Women's Cross Country wins Conference

The Greenfield-Central women's cross country team won the Hoosier Heritage Conference Championship for the first time in school history, narrowly defeating New Palestine 48-50. It took a whole team effort to win the championship. The Cougars were led by Mia Brinkruff and Josie Kinnaman in 2nd and 3rd place. Also earning all-HHC honors were Adalyn Cole (12th), and Kendall Barrett (14th). Sophomore Kamryn Smith had the performance of the day, securing the win with a 17th place finish. Taylor Cooksey provided necessary depth with a 23rd place finish. Aspen Wiswell (48th), Addison Gordon (55th), Harper Rahe (57th), Cerenity Minchin (58th), Ashlyn Devlin (64th), Paige Coughenour (81st), Lillian Gordon (87th), Kaiden Frischkorn (104th), and Annabelle Seats (108th) also competed for GC.
