The team traveled to Oldenburg this morning for a 10:00 AM kickoff on the grass. Early play was back-and-forth, with both sides getting chances, including a shot from Jess Kleinknight at the six-minute mark. Oldenburg broke through at 11:30 with a goal on a breakaway, then added a second at 19:30 and a third at 34 minutes. GC responded with several attempts—Paige McCarley sent one just over the crossbar at 13:30, followed by another strong effort from the right flank. Mayrin Rodriguez had a shot at 39 minutes, but Oldenburg struck again in the final 30 seconds to take a 4–0 lead into halftime. Early in the second half, Oldenburg added another goal five minutes in. Despite the deficit, GC continued to battle, settling into the match and generating quality looks. Kinley Smith had an attempt at the 25th minute, Kleinknight followed at the 27th, and Aubrey Bush closed out the match with a late shot in the final seconds.
