Varsity volleyball had a clean sweep against the Lawrence Central Bears in Monday night's match. The Cougars took control early in the game, and won the first set 25-21. GC had all the momentum going into set two and put up a strong fight against LC. Late in the second set, the Cougars had a lead of 20-13. GC closed out the second set 25-20. Lawrence Central pushed back and the game was tied 15-15 halfway through the third set. Then GC had a couple more runs that closed out the game 25-19. Varsity volleyball is now 11-7 this season.
