Men's Cross Country Finishes 13th at the Flashrock Invitational

The Cougars finished 13th in the Championship Division of the Flashrock Invitational. Braylon Mumaugh led the Cougars with a 34th place finish running a season best, 16:32. David Wasson was the next Cougars in 17:06. Jack Wait was able to return to the varsity lineup, putting in a solid race, running a season best 17:24. Adam Shields and Michael Peterson were battling the whole race with Shields holding on to finish in 18:02, leading Peterson to a pr of 18:03. Jaxon Conaway and Maeson Robinson rounded out the top 7 running 18:22 and 18:26 respectively. Also running in the varsity race were Otto Sickels (18:40), Parker Lawson (19:19), and Hunter Wiswell (20:12). In the JV race, the Cougars finished 15th led by Josiah Johnson, who ran a pr of 20:49. Johnson had to sprint to stay ahead of teammate, Fred Gordon, who only finished one second back. Henry Clossey ran well to finish in 23:10. Nick Ryba ran 23:57, and Noah Harrison ran 24:06.
