The Cougars were in control from start to finish in Thursday night's match against Shelbyville. The first set went to GC 25-15. The Cougars got off to a slower start in the second set, getting down 0-4 to Shelbyville. But GC stormed back and took the lead from there. The Cougars closed out set two 25-10. Shelbyville was more competitive in the third and final set. The Golden Bears just barely trailed behind the Cougars for most of the set. GC was able to finish strong and top off the night with a 25-21 win over Shelbyville. Varsity volleyball is now 10-7 this season.
