JV volleyball fell to Shelbyville 0-2 in Thursday night's match. The Cougars led the start of the first set, but Shelbyville stayed consistent and chipped away at GC's lead. The end of set one was a battle, but ultimately went to Shelbyville 27-25. Once again the Cougars started off with a lead of 12-8 in the second set, but Shelbyville overpowered GC and took the second set 25-19. JV volleyball is now 7-6 this season.
