GC Varsity loses to Pendleton Heights - Coach Bobby Holden: Tough loss at home tonight. Played a rough first half and found ourselves chasing the game from behind in the second half. Had plenty of momentum in the second half. Well done by Pendleton Heights to finish their opportunities and their defense was able to keep us out of the net on our chances. What a great night to celebrate our buddies from Top Soccer with GASC. We had pizza with them before the game. The TopSoccer players then walked out with the Varsity starters during announcements and got recognized. It was fun to have them at our game tonight! We also had our staff appreciation night with our invited staff from Greenfield-Central in attendance and recognized them for all they do for our student athletes. Staff in attendance were treated to a catered meal from QDoba, recognized at halftime, and given certificates of appreciation filled out by each of the Varsity players.
