Despite being on their home court, varsity volleyball struggled to find the same rhythm they had last week. The Cougars were unable to limit their errors, and Delta made very few mistakes throughout the match. The first set went to Delta 25-19. GC made the second set score a little closer, but were unable to come out on top. Delta took set two 25-21. It looked like the Cougars would turn it around in set 3, as they were leading for most of the set. But Delta chipped away at GC's lead and eventually took the set (and match) with a 25-19 win in set three. Varsity volleyball is now 5-4 this season.
