The varsity volleyball team battled their way through a tough 2-3 loss to Scecina. The Cougars got off to a strong start and took the first set 25-20. Scecina came back with a 25-22 win in set two. GC found success again in set 3 and came out on top 25-21. Unfortunately the Cougars came up just shy of the win in set 4, and the Crusaders took the set 25-23. Scecina came out with a big lead early in the 5th set and ultimately defeated the Cougars 15-8. Varsity volleyball is now 0-1 to start the season.
