Freshman Wilson Leads Greenfield in JV Golf Match at Hawk's Tail

Course, battling it out against tough competition from New Palestine and Mt. Vernon. Despite a determined effort, Greenfield finished in third place, trailing behind the top two teams. Leading the charge for Greenfield was freshman standout McCoy Wilson, who posted the lowest score for the match with an impressive 41. Wilson's performance set the pace, proving his potential as a valuable asset to the squad. Teammates Gabe Elliott, Trenton Smith, Kolton Bonham, and Everett Beaver followed with respective scores of 52, 46, 62, and 52, demonstrating perseverance across the board. Hawk’s Tail Golf Course provided the backdrop for the match, offering its signature challenges to the young golfers. Though Greenfield fell short of securing the top spot, the team’s resilience, and Wilson’s stellar showing hint at a promising high school golf career for many of the young golfers.
