Seniors Compete Well at their own Cougar Chase

The seniors had a great showing on senior night, winning events, and running personal best times. The Cougars opened the night on the track with a senior filled 4x200 winning the event and setting the school record in 1:30.16. The team consisted of John Stuckey, Austin Kincer, Jordin Jones, Jalen Stuckey. The 4 seniors also won the 4x100 later in the meet. Jones finished the night with a win in the 4x400 with teammates Garrett Jack, Everett Bishop and Will Erwin. Jalen Stuckey and Austin Kincer finished 2nd and 6th in the 100. Senior Zach Blevens won the discus in 155'9" with freshman Von Quigley finishing 2nd in 142'2". In the long jump, senior John Stuckey finished 2nd. In the 1600, seniors Peter Hummel and Isaac Berty both ran a pr with Hummel running 4:42 and Berty 5:17. Freshman Jack Wait finished one spot behind Hummel in 7th. In the 3200, senior Ben Flora ran a 20 second pr to finish in 11:02. Henry Rahe was 6th in the 3200 running almost a 30 second pr to finish in 9:54. Hunter Wiswell ran a 2 second pr finishing in 11:41. In the 110 hurdles, senior Payton Foley just missed a pr. In the 400, freshman and sophomore Will Erwin and Everett Bishop both ran prs with Erwin running 51.28 to finish 4th and Bishop running 52.96 to finish 9th. In the shot put, Von Quigley finished 2nd with Memphis Blevens 8th. In the Pole Vault Will Parker and Hunter Jones finished tied for 4th and 7th respectively. Elijah Johnson ran a 2 second pr in the 110 hurdles to finish in 47.04.
