Despite a challenging team score of 171, Greenfield Central had plenty to celebrate at this year’s county championship, as standout player Avery Young delivered a season-best performance of 37 to earn All County Honors. The tournament, featuring fierce competition among four schools, saw New Palestine secure the overall victory with a 160, while Eastern Hancock followed closely at 162, and Mt. Vernon posted 163.
