The Cougars had three underclassmen compete in the Carmel 3200 Showcase. Otto Sickels started off the night running 10:40.69 which was a 29 second PR. He finished 18th in his heat of freshmen boys, and the 49th fastest freshman. Sickels PR would prove to be the most time dropped out of the three Cougars on the night. In the next heat of freshmen, Jack Wait dropped 16 seconds to run 9:51.87. Wait finished the 8th fastest freshman, and he is the fastest freshman 3200 runner ever at GC, beating Braylon Mumaugh's time last year of 9:59. Sophomore, Bryce Cotterman, finished the night for the Cougars running the fastest time of the three. Cotterman ran 9:45.17 to finish second in his heat and 84th out of 197. Cotterman dropped 22 seconds off his best time. It was a great evening for the Cougars.
