On a chilly, breezy night our lady Cougars fought the entire night but couldn't overtake a very good Zionsville squad. Zionsville scored 3 in the 1st all with 2 out and followed with 2 more in the 2nd. The Cougars managed to put up a run in the 1st. Zionsville added single runs in the 5th and 6th. The lady cougars plated 3 in 5th, and 1 in the 7th but it was not enough to get the win. Offensively Josie White was 2 for 4 with a run scored, Savvanna Riall was 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored, a solo home run and 1 rbi, Charlotte Riehle was 2 for 4, a double and 2 rbi, Avery Daniels was 2 for 3. Lelanie Forshey, Allison Hornaday, Addi Herrin and Kolbie Wensel each had a hit giving us 12 for the game. Addi Heacox took the loss in the circle going 2 innings allowing 7 hits 5 runs, 5 earned, 2 K's. Ailea Dowdy finished out the game going 5 innings allowing 7 hits, 2 runs, 2 earned and 2 K's. Next up a Thursday night game at Rushville.
