Cougars defeat Westfield 5-3. The lady Cougars jumped out to a 3-0 in the 1st inning and never trailed in the game. Josie White singled and scored on Sac fly by Savvanna Riall, Addi Herrin added a rbi single in the inning. Leilanie Forshey drove home a run in the 2nd inning with double to left center, she also hit a sac fly in the 4th to extend the lead to 5-1. The Cougars had 11 hits on the night, Kristen Wineinger was 2 for 4 and scored twice, Josie White was 1 for 3 and scored a run, Charlotte Riehle was 3 for 3 on the night, Allison Hornaday, Addi Herrin and Avery Daniels each had a single Ailea Dowdy picked up her 2nd win of the season giving up 9 hits, 3 runs striking out 4 and walking 1. The lady Cougars will be in action Thursday night when they travel to Columbus East
