After Madison Grant jumped out to a 4-0 lead with just 1 out in the 1st, Addi Heacox entered the circle and shut down their hot start. Over 6.2 innings Heacox allowed just 6 hits and 2 additional runs keeping the lady cougars in the game and picking up her 1st win of the season. The defense continues to make highlight reel plays all over the field and the offense is doing whatever it takes to score runs. Josie White went 2 for 4 while scoring 3 runs, Savvanna Riall put up another great game going 3 for 4, 2 doubles, scoring twice and driving in 3 increasing her team leading rbi total to 10, Allison Hornaday also went 2 for 4, Charlotte Riehle had 2 sac fly's the last one a shot to deep left center that plated Riall for the game winning run. The lady cougars continue to show a no panic attitude that has allowed them battle to the very end in every game this season. Next up a trip to Westfield on 4/16
