22-3 Greenfield Central Cougars defeated Pendleton Heights 72-47 in Sectional #9 at Muncie Central. The Cougars advance to the semi-final on Friday night and will play sectional host Muncie Central Bearcats in the second game that night (~7:30pm). In the victory, the Cougars placed 2 players in double figures. Braylon Mullins lead the way with 30 points which included an impressive 7-8 from beyond the arc. Braylon also added 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Mikey Johnson was also in double figures with 23 points on 9-13 shooting from the field and a perfect 5-5 from the charity stripe. Mikey added 8 boards, 6 assists and 3 steals. Boston Willard was close to double figures with 8 points while having 4 assists and 2 steals. Others in the scoring column were Dallas Freeman with 3 points, Cooper Robertson with 3 points, Cole Mullins with 3 points and Tucker Brown with 2 points. While the Cougars face the Muncie Central Bearcats in the second semi-final game on Friday, the Anderson Indians and Mt. Vernon Marauders square off in the first game which tips at 6:00 pm at the Muncie Central Fieldhouse.
