Greenfield-Central Junior Varsity picked up a road win Friday night as they defeated East Central JV by a score of 60 - 46. The Cougars continue their hot shooting from behind the arc, connecting on 12 triples during the contest. Isaac Roberts put on a shooting display as he connected on five from beyond the arc, finishing with a game-high, 17 points. Clay Mullins and Wyatt Freeman both contributed 9 apiece while Billy Stein added 8; the trio connected on the other seven 3's for the game. Malachi Van's dunk in the third quarter pushed the lead to 20 while the Cougars cruised from there. As a team, G-C forced several turnovers on defense and shared the ball well on the offensive end. The win pushes their season record to an impressive 16-2 mark. JV will tip tonight at 6 pm against Martinsville to begin the Senior night festivities. Come out and support the six seniors for our Greenfield-Central varsity team as they take the floor for the final time in the Dellen Automotive Gymnasium. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
