The 16-2 Cougars win the HHC conference title as they extend the HHC winning streak to 20 games. The Cougars repeat as undefeated conference champions, which is the first in the history of Greenfield Central. The Cougars last HHC loss was in 2022. In the victory over the tough Delta Eagles team, the Cougars were lead by senior Dallas Freeman with 20 points on 7-11 shooting while adding 8 boards. Mikey Johnson added 14 points on 5-8 shooting while he added an amazing 7 assists and 6 rebounds. Point Guard Boston Willard remained fantastic with 5 dimes! Cooper Robertson shot 80% from field and had 8 points and added 2 assists and 2 boards. Delta's defense focused on Braylon Mullins and Mullins had 7 points and 3 assists. Junior Tucker Brown had two huge threes in the first half which gave him 6 points for the game. The Cougars host the Greenwood Woodmen on Saturday for a matinee game and then host Franklin Central on Tuesday while finishing the busy week with Lawrence Central on Friday for the Cancer Awareness game.
