The JV Cougars played a strong offensive game Tuesday night, defeating Yorktown 37-5. The team's offense was led by Brooklynn Study with 9 points and Aubrey Bush with 8 points. Paislee Brown added 6 points, Addie Heacox and Brooklyn Emmerling both scored 4 points, Rommie Bennett contributed 3 points, and Hadley Hill added 2. Bush led the team in rebounds, finishing with 11; she also had 3 steals and 1 assist. Brown was the second-leading rebounder with 6, and Abbey Malet added 4. As a team, the Cougars finished with 19 deflections, 13 steals, 5 assists, and 2 blocks. The JV plays its last game Thursday night at Southport. 6pm start.
