The Cougars played a strong offensive and defensive game Tuesday night against Muncie Central. Offensively, Addie Heacox led with 18 points, hitting four 3-point baskets. Abbey Malet was the second-leading scorer, recording 9 points. Also scoring for the team's offense: Brooklyn Study, Charlotte Sible, and Aubrey Bust all finished with 4 points, Paislee Brown contributed 3 points, Hadley Hill had 2 points, and Brooklyn Emmerling scored 1 point. Bush led the team in rebounds with 7, while Hill and Malet both added 5. Defensively, Malet led in steals with 5, and Heacox added 3. Brown led in deflections with 8. As a team, the Cougars finished with 15 steals and 18 deflections. The team plays Friday night at Mt. Vernon. 6pm start.
