The Greenfield-Central Boys JV defeated Eastern Hancock JV by a score of 60 - 10 on Saturday evening. After one quarter, the score stood at 7 apiece. The Cougars increased the intensity on the defensive end from that point and went on a very impressive 47-0 run. A phenomenal team effort saw G-C tally 10 steals, 27 rebounds with 8 offensive, and 13 assists. Billy Stein scored a game high of 13 points off the bench while Blake Evans added 11 & Malachi Van with 10 for the trio in double figures. Clay Mullins (6), Isaac Roberts (5), Brody Willard (4), Wyatt Freeman (3), and Cole Mullins, Cooper Hinton, Braylon Sheffield, and Carter Grinstead each with a bucket to round out the scoring. The JV Cougars are at home against Shortridge, this Thursday, 6pm tip.
