Greenfield Central Cougars' offense was dominant at Eastern Hancock on Saturday night. While the Cougars ended with 100 points, GC dropped an impressive 38 points in the first period. Greenfield Central lead 64-25 at halftime and finished the game 100-46. Overall, the Cougars were an impressive 50% from deep as they shot 13-26 from 3 point range. Greenfield Central shot an astounding 25-30 from 2 point range while the Cougar defense forced the Royals into 20 turnovers. The Cougars placed 3 players in double figures. Mr. Basketball candidate Braylon Mullins lead the way with 41 points on 16-20 shooting while he added 4 steals and 2 rebounds. Boston Willard had a career high with 24 points while pitching in 11 assists for the double double. Willard also had 6 steals!. Mikey Johnson added 16 points on 5-5 field goal shooting and he added 3 assists and 3 rebounds. Others in the scoring column were Brady Johnson (2), Cole Mullins (3), Cooper Hinton (2), Blake Evans (2), Tucker Brown (3), Dallas Freeman (3) and Cooper Robertson (4). Dallas Freeman added 3 rebounds and 4 assists while Brady Johnson added an additional 3 assists and 2 steals. Tucker Brown pitched in an impressive 4 rebounds too. Greenfield Central hosts Shortridge on Thursday and HHC opponent Shelbyville on Saturday.
