At today's JV Regional tournament, your Junior Varsity Cougars showcased their skills with impressive performances. Leading the charge, Izzy House earned 2nd place with a solid (2-1) record, while Zaiden Tritch also captured 2nd with a (3-1) record. Jacob Hoover secured a strong 3rd place finish, going (4-1). Several other wrestlers fought hard, earning valuable experience and placing well. Liam Doffin finished 5th with a (2-2) record; while Marshall Swails, and Hayden Tomey finished 4th with (2-2) records, showing resilience throughout the competition. Other standout performances included Jacob Jones, who earned 6th place with a 3-2 record, and Parker Cupp, who finished 4th ending the day (2-2). James Ripley also placed 5th with a (2-2) record, and Carter Gregory rounded out the day with a 5th place finish. Despite facing tough competition, many wrestlers showed great effortand determination including; Reagan Burgin, Jaelyn Storch, James Owen, Kayson Ward, McCoy Wilson, and Jayden Wiles. While some faced challenges, the team as a whole displayed their grit and growth. With strong performances across the board, the following Saturday, Marshall Swails, Hayden Tomey, Izzy House, Zaiden Tritch, and Jacob Hoover will all be competing at the Junior Varsity state tournament.
