Greenfield Central Men's Basketball went on the road to defeat 8-1 HHC and Hancock County opponent Mt. Vernon 60-55. The Cougars are the only team left unbeaten in HHC competition. The Cougars overcame an early deficit to defeat the Marauders. Greenfield Central placed two players in double figures with Braylon Mullins leading the way with 34 points, 4 steals and 5 rebounds while fellow senior Mikey Johnson had 16 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals and 4 assists. Senior point guard Boston Willard had an impressive 9 assists, 6 steals and 2 rebounds. Dallas Freeman added 6 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals. After defeating #16 Mt. Vernon, the 9-2 Cougars travel to New Castle Friday January 17th for an HHC contest and then travel to Eastern Hancock for a county matchup on Saturday night.
