Greenfield Central Men's Basketball team handled the 5-1 Lawrenceburg Tigers 74-44. The Cougars dominated the game from the tip to the final buzzer. The Cougars placed 9 team members in the scoring column in the victory. On GC's Hall of Fame Induction night, the Cougars dominated the Tigers. While the Cougars led by 20 at half time, they dominated the 3rd quarter by outscoring the Tigers by 16 to put the game away. GC's 1-3-1 caused problems for the visiting Tigers. The Cougars also shot an impressive 58% from the field in the game. While the Cougars saw multiple defenses throughout the game, GC dominated the game throughout. Greenfield Central was lead by Braylon Mullins with 25 points, 5 rebounds, 7 steals and 4 assists in 3 quarters of play. Fellow senior Mikey Johnson had 17 points, 5 assists, 4 steals and 4 rebounds. Senior point guard Boston Willard had a well rounded night with 7 points, 6 assists and 2 boards. Dallas Freeman was almost in double figures with 9 points, but added 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Others in the scoring column were Tucker Brown with 8 points followed by Brady Johnson, Cole Mullins, Cooper Robertson and Cooper Hinton with a field goal each. Greenfield Central improved to 6-1 on the year. The Cougars will now travel to the Hall of Fame Classic at New Castle on December 28th. GC will play Jeffersonville in the first game and then either Fishers or Warsaw in the second game. This is the first time in the history of GCHS that the men's basketball team has been invited to play in the Hall of Fame Classic at New Castle. Come out and support the Cougars on December 28th at New Castle!
