The Greenfield-Central girls basketball team took a tough loss Tuesday night against the Golden Bears. The Cougars' offense was led by Izzy Silcox with 16 points, and the second-leading was Chaney Brown with 9 points. Also contributing to the offense: Madison Sonsini (6pts.), Brooklyn McConnell (5pts.), Juliann Jones (4pts.), Ainsley Robinson (3pts.). Sonsini was the leading rebounder with 15, Brown contributed 11, and Jones added 5. As a team, the Cougars finished with 8 assists, 9 steals, and 1 blocked shot. The team plays this Saturday at home against Delta. 12pm JV start.
