The Greenfield-Central Varsity Wrestling team traveled to Perry Meridian for the Falcon Duals, hosted by Perry Meridian High School, finishing with an impressive 4-1 team record. The Cougars opened strong, defeating Triton Central 66-12 and Carmel 42-27. Their lone loss came in a hard-fought match against No. 7-ranked Columbus East, 27-38. Greenfield-Central bounced back with a solid 42-25 win over the host Perry Meridian and capped the day with a resounding 71-10 victory against Evansville North. Several Cougars stood out in individual performances. Lincoln Parsons (113), Cade Zuber (138), and Zach Blevens (285) all posted undefeated 5-0 records, while Jett McGuire (120), JJ Harlow (144), Mason Thompson (165), and Tristen Lanum (215) each recorded strong 4-1 finishes. The Cougars host HHC foe, Shelbyville on Wednesday at 6:30 pm.
