G-C Boy's JV defeated Decatur Central JV by a score of 57 - 42 on Tuesday evening to improve to 2-0. The Cougars jumped out early with an 11-0 run and never trailed during the contest. G-C was hot from beyond the arc, hitting 10 three-pointers as a team during the game. Blake Evans had an impressive showing, tallying 21 points on the night while Billy Stein poured in 16 points off the bench. The pair accounted for 8 of the 10 three pointers for G-C. Malachi Van was a force in the paint, adding 10 points and several rebounds to round out the double digit scorers. Wyatt Freeman and Clay Mullins with 5 points apiece to conclude the scoring. Clay Mullins dished out a contest leading 8 assists on the night. G-C JV Boys are back on the court this Thursday at New Palestine for the JV Boy/Girl doubleheader with the Freshmen Boys team in action as well. Freshman and JV Girls play at 6 while the JV Boys tip at 7:30.
