The Cougars defeated Ben Davis 57-52 at Brownsburg in the Sneakers for Santa event. GC outscored Ben Davis by 9 in the second half for the victory. Overall, the Cougars were 20-39 from the field and was a stellar 11-12 from the charity stripe. Senior Braylon Mullins lead all scorers with 41 points on a phenomenal shooting night while being 13-18 from the field. Mullins also added 5 rebounds. Mikey Johnson added 9 points on 4-6 shooting while adding 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Boston Willard added 3 points, 3 assists and 2 steals while Dallas Freeman and Tucker Brown each had 2 points. Tucker Brown added 3 steals and senior Brady Johnson had 2 assists and a steal. 2-0 Greenfield Central has an upcoming gauntlet with hosting Decatur Central on Tuesday, hosting New Palestine on Friday and playing Lawrence North on Saturday at Southport in the Forum Classic.
