The Greenfield-Central Cougars played against Anderson in Wednesday night's opening scrimmage. The team's offense was well spread out, with multiple players scoring in double digits. Izzy Silcox scored 14 points, Chaney Brown and Brooklyn McConnell both scored 13, and Madison Sonsini finished with 12 points. Addi Herrin also contributed 5 points. The Cougars out-rebounded the Indians 44 to 25. The boards were led by Sonsini with 9 and Chaney Brown 7. The team was also successful in breaking down the Indian's defense with aggressive ball movement, finishing with 23 team assists. The team's first regular season game will be a home game against Lapel on Tuesday, November 5th with a 6pm JV start.
