The Greenfield-Central women's cross country team traveled to Taylor University on Saturday to compete in the Delta Invitational. The Cougars placed third in the meet behind Avon and Guerin Catholic. Josie Kinnaman led the Cougars with a first place finish. Kinnaman was followed to the line by top twenty performances by Adalyn Cole (11th) and Kendall Barrett (16th). Taylor Cooksey (25th) and Harper Rahe (45th) rounded out the scoring five for the Cougars. Addison Gordon (56th), Cerenity Minchin (67th), Katie Taylor (84th), Ashlyn Devlin (88th), Isabel Garcia (98th), and Kaiden Frischkorn (104th) also competed for GC. Cooksey (22:04) and Garcia (29:19) ran personal best times. GC is action nest Saturday at 9:45 at the Mt. Vernon Sectional.
