Varsity vs Oldenburg Academy (3 - 2) Win The Varsity Girls Soccer team played host to 1A-4th ranked Oldenburg Academy on Saturday. The Cougars opened up scoring in the first half when Aubrey Bush got loose in the penalty box and was fouled. Paige McCarley hit the PK for a 1-0 lead. The second half saw Aubrey Bush make a run outside and cross it to Ainsley Robinson for a 2-0 lead. Then Paige McCarley slotted a beautiful through ball that Ainsley Robinson handled and beat the keeper for a 3-0 lead. A late PK and a dropped shot gave Oldenburg a couple of goals late. The Cougars held on for the victory. Caroline Felver had 13 saves for the win.
