The girls varsity volleyball team defeated the Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars in their away game on Tuesday, September 10. Greenfield-Central took the first set 25-11. GCA put the pressure on in set 2 and took the set 25-16. The GC Cougars limited their errors and played strong defense to win the third set 25-19. Most of set 4 was point-for-point, but Greenfield-Central ultimately walked away with the win at 25-20. Key players in this game included Harper Holden and Maddie Sonsini, they both had several kills and added multiple blocks to help the GC Cougars win the game. Varsity volleyball is now 10-4 this season, and their next game is Thursday, September 12 at home against New Castle.
