The Greenfield-Central women's cross country team traveled to Columbus on Saturday to race in the Columbus North Rick Weinheimer Classic. The Lady Cougars placed 8th of 21 schools in the AA (Large school) Division. The Cougars were led by the 15th place finish of Josie Kinnaman. Adalyn Cole followed with a 40th place finish. Rounding out the scorers for GC were Lexie Copeland (64th), Kendall Barrett (77th), and Taylor Cooksey (106th). Also competing were Harper Rahe (117th), Addison Gordon (139th), Cerenity Minchin (146th), Ashlyn Devlin (170th), and Katherine Taylor (178th). Kaiden Frischkorn (104th) and Isabel Garcia (112th) participated in the JV race. Kinnaman, Cole, Barrett, Cooksey, Rahe, Gordon, Minchin, Taylor, Frischkorn, and Garcia all posted season best times, while Copeland and Devlin ran season best times. The top five of Kinnaman, Cole, Copeland, Barrett, and Cooksey set a new school record with an average time of 20:42.1.
