Varsity Football vs Greensburg Community High School (35-0 Win) The Cougars hosted the Greensburg Pirates the game was delayed with :40 seconds left to play in the first quarter with the Cougars leading 35-0. The Pirates chose not to continue the game during the lightning delay and the game ended. Senior Payton Foley opened the game for the cougars with a 90 yard TD run on the opening offensive play. On the next offensive possession, the Cougars scored when senior Dallas Freeman completed a 20 yard TD pass to Boston Willard. Junior Cooper Hinton scored twice for the Cougars catching a TD from Dallas Freeman and then later in the 1st quarter scored a rushing TD. The Cougar defense was led by Payton Foley with 2 sacks, Trenton had 6 total tackles, 1 sack and 1 TFL, Carson Anderson scored on defense for the Cougars with a 25 yard fumble recovery TD. The Cougars travel to Mt Vernon next week.
