Varsity Volleyball Takes Down Eastern Hancock 3-2

Girls varsity volleyball played an exciting match against the Eastern Hancock Royals. Both teams came in with confidence and determination, and it was a true battle to see who would walk away with the win. The Cougars controlled the first set with a dominating 25-13 performance. In set two, Eastern Hancock got off to an early lead and maintained it all the way to a score of 25-21. Greenfield-Central came back in set three and took care of business with a score of 25-15. Once again, the Royals battled back and led the whole fourth set and topped it off with another 25-21 win. Going into their first 5th set of the season, Greenfield got off to an early lead. They were able to minimize their errors and secured the win 15-12. Makenna Rankins also got her 2000th assist in this game and Harper Holden achieved her 500th career kill earlier this week. Varsity volleyball is now 7-1 this season. The Cougars' next game is at Delta on Tuesday, September 3.
