Junior Varsity vs Mt Vernon High School (Fortville The Lady Cougars JV Soccer Team hosted Mt Vernon Monday night under an incredibly hot night. A scoreless first half set up an exciting second half. MV opened the scoring to put the Cougars down 0-1 early. The Cougars tied it up late in the second half on a Lucy Blanton goal. Then with just three minutes left in the game, Aubrey Hulen dribbled through three separate defenders and slotted in the game winner for a 2-1 victory. Abbey Malet had 10 saves in the win.
