The girls varsity volleyball team defeated the Greensburg Pirates in an exciting match on Wednesday, August 21. The Cougars took the first set 25-23. In the second set, GC improved their lead to 2-0 after winning 25-19. The third set was a nail-biter; they fought point-for-point until the Cougars finally secured the win at 34-32. The girls varsity volleyball team is now 2-1 this season. Next they will play in the Covenant Christian Invite on Saturday, August 24.
