Several members of the Greenfield Central Women's Track and Field team completed a the IHSAA Regional #6 in Shelbyville last evening. The Cougars placed 6th overall scoring 30 points. The high points for the evening, though, were the two individual state qualifiers in 3 events. Senior Savannah Lake was the first to punch her ticket to state. Savannah won the 100m Dash in 11.76. This is an all time PR for Savannah and a new school record for the event. Savannah also placed 3rd in the 200m Dash with a time of 24.85. This was aslo a new school record and all time PR. Savannah Lake will run both events at the state finals meet on May 31.
