The varsity volleyball team defeated conference opponent Pendleton Heights in three straight sets on Thursday, October 1. The Cougars stayed with the Arabians early in the first set, then took the lead about halfway through. GC maintained a lead throughout the end of the set and closed it out 25-21. The second set had a similar tone with both teams going point-for-point early in the set until GC was able to pull away and finish set two 25-21. The third set shared the same competitiveness as the first two and both teams were exchanging points until late in the set. Finally the Cougars were able to win the set and match with a score of 25-22. This game was also Greenfield-Central Senior Night. We want to thank and congratulate our seniors: Samantha Campbell, Alex Muegge, Demi Muegge, Izzy Silcox, and manager Keragin Snodgrass!
